Maopika , it's me, Marie🎉
Mao is my name in Japanese.
And Pika is a nickname inspired by a famous yellow mouse ⚡
I just combined two of my nicknames to create this name 🤭
I 've always loved creating things. As a child, I spent my time drawing, then I discovered polymer clay. I started with small pieces of jewelry, then mini figurines that I sold to my friends and family 💕

✨ How Maopika started?
In 2018, I opened my Etsy shop to sell beyond my circle of friends and family 🌍
Shortly after, I discovered UV resin. At first, I used it to complete my creations, but very quickly, I wanted to try more things, like using molds.
In 2019, I started working with epoxy resin. My first attempts? A real disaster! 😂
But I'm stubborn. Slowly I've been leaving polymer clay aside, as it takes too long to work with, to focus on resin instead.
After a few months, I get tired of standard molds: low quality, boring shapes 😅
I discovered small makers and fell in love with shakers! But... most of them are from the US, and with shipping and customs fees, it's out of my budget 💸
In 2020, I challenged myself to create my own molds. The first attempts were far from perfect, but after months of testing, I finally achieved the quality I wanted.
In August, I officially launched my website with a section for silicone molds 🎉
For a year, I worked on both creating resin accessories and molds... but demand for the molds quickly took over.
In 2021, I'm focusing entirely on making molds.
And at the end of 2022, I'm adding a new adventure: polymer clay cutters.
Since then, I continue to perfect my techniques to offer unique and quality molds to passionate crafters 💖
